Dr. Claudia Gomez is a Lecturer in Marketing at Simon Fraser University's Beedie School of Business . With over seven years of consulting experience, she works at the intersection of academic research and industry practice, supporting Canadian startups.
Her research focuses on consumer behavior, particularly gender stereotypes in advertising and sustainable consumption. Her work has been published in journals such as the International Journal of Consumer Studies, Feminist Media Studies, Journal of Sustainable Marketing, and the Academy of Marketing Science. With over 40 citations and ongoing industry collaborations, her research contributes to both scholarly discourse and marketing strategies that promote social and environmental change.
